Chetan Nayak is a seasoned healthcare IT professional with over two decades of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and training clinical staff across some of the world's most complex EHR environments. Based in Sydney, Australia, Chetan brings deep expertise in Oracle Cerner Millennium — including PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, and Cerner Command Language — he is also familiar with other EMR's such as Epic, Meditech, Veradigm, and other major platforms.
Throughout his career, Chetan has worked with hospitals and health systems across the globe to design and deliver training programs that stick — and he saw firsthand how the absence of a tool to simulate realistic, safe training data consistently slowed down go-lives and eroded staff confidence. Smart Data Simulator was born directly from that experience: a tool he wished had existed when he was in the field.
Today, Chetan leads Smart Data Simulator's product direction and client engagements, combining deep clinical workflow knowledge with a practical understanding of what healthcare IT teams actually need to succeed.
